“What
is an INNOVACARD™?”
An INNOVACARD is a CD Rom Business
Card that is produced from the same high quality
material as a standard CD-ROM.
2. “How
does it work since its not the size of a traditional
CD?” Originally computer CD-Rom and DVD-Rom
drives were designed with the capability of reading
3-inch CDs.That is why your desktop computer has
an inner ring on the CD tray/cartridge.
The INNOVACARD fits into this inner ring
on desktops or snaps directly onto the spindle of
your CD/DVD-Rom drive on your laptop.

“How
can you shape a CD-Rom or audio CD without corrupting
the information on it?” Since CD
drives read the information from the inside out,
the information remains intact after the cutting/molding
process has finished.
The blank space left on the outer portion
of the CD can be eliminated. The amount of storage required dictates how much can be successfully
discarded.
4. “What
are the major differences between the 3 INNOVACARD™
models?”

The
INNOVACARD™ Esquire is our premier card. It holds
about 40MBs and receives the highest quality silkscreening
available. It is molded using a patented process
which appears as two CDs in width.

The
INNOVACARD ™
Business
is cut from a standard CD. It holds the same amount
of information as the INNOVACARD Esquire (32 MBs)
except it has 2 rails on the bottom on which it
sits. This model is perfect for those companies
trying to promote their business on a tight budget.

The
INNOVACARD™
Standard
is also cut from a standard CD, but the edges
of the card retains the natural curve of a CD-Rom.
This model is perfect for those that require
up to 100 MBs of data on the card.

"How much information can be stored on an INNOVACARD™?"
The INNOVACARD Business and Esquire models
can store approximately 32 MBs of data. That is
equivalent to about 5 minutes of video (descent
quality), 10000 pages of text, 2500 web pages
with pictures, or a 15-minute multimedia presentation.
The INNOVACARD Standard can be made to hold up
to 100 MBs (size will be slightly larger). The
amount of content will vary based on picture,
video, or audio quality. The 15-minute multimedia
presentation is based on Macromedia Flash/Shockwave
technology.
NOTE: THE INNOVACARD STANDARD CAN HOLD UP TO 100
MBs (APPROXIMATELY 15 minutes of video, 25000 pages
of text, 7500 we pages with pictures or a 45-minute
presentation)

"Will the INNOVACARD™ work on both PC and MAC computers?"
Yes, the INNOVACARD will work on both PC and MAC platforms
if the client desires. NOTE: If the client desires
a dual-format card (i.e. it will run on both PC and
Mac computers) the amount of information that can
be stored will be reduced to about 50% since it will
have to store both a PC and a MAC version!
7. "What quality artwork will be on the face of
the INNOVACARD™ ?" We use a high-resolution 5-color
silkscreen process (4-color plus a white background).

"What are the minimum requirements necessary to
properly view the INNOVACARD™ ?"· PC: Software:
Windows 3.1/95/98/NT/2000 Hardware: (minimum requirements)
486SX or greater 8 MB of available RAM 8 - bit sound
card · MAC: Software: OS 7.1 or higher Hardware: PowerPC
or newer
9. "Are the INNOVACARDs scratch resistant?" Yes.
Much like standard CD-Roms they do contain a scratch
resistant coating that will hold up under normal wear
and tear. The INNOVACARD Business is less prone to
scratches since it stands on the two rails.

"What is the total development lead time?"
Development lead-time depends on the length of the
presentation desired and any changes you desire during
the creative process. Usually this will be between
2 and 3 weeks from the date that we receive all necessary
content.

"What is the total manufacturing lead time ?" Normal
production lead-time is 2-3 weeks. Faster times are
available.
12.
"What types of packaging is available for the INNOVACARDs?"
Vinyl, and paper sleeves are readily available. Postcard
mailers and other specialty packaging are available
upon request.
13.
"How much does the INNOVACARD™ weigh?" They weigh
about half the weight of a standard CD- Rom, which
when placed in a postcard mailer can be mailed for
about 15 cents (USA)!
14.
"Can I supply my own content to be place on an
INNOVACARD™?" Yes, you may supply us with your
own completed content for the INNOVACARD. We recommend
Macromedia Flash/Director presentations and all artwork
to be submitted in an .EPS file format. However, we
do charge a $299 initial setup fee if its not submitted
in a gold glass master format. We also charge a nominal
fee is there is no autorun/auto-start file submitted,
and you desire the INNOVACARD to automatically launch
when the client places it into his/her computer.
15.
"If I reorder do I incur another setup or development
fee?" No, as long as the content is the same as
the initial order. We do charge nominal fees if modifications
are requested.
16.
"Can the INNOVACARD™ be personalized and/or sequentially
numbered?" Yes, we can produce smaller lots of
cards specific to individuals in your corporation;
However, we do recommend keeping the INNOVACARDs artwork
general and coupling it with a standard business card
in the same sleeve, for a specific company contact.
We can also sequentially number the INNOVACARDS or
the sleeves. We recommend sequentially numbering the
sleeve rather than the card, since it is more cost
effective and the number is accessible while the INNOVACARD
is in the drive (excellent for User Logins or Ids).
17.
"What can be placed on an INNOVACARD™?" Virtually
anything from your catalog to your business plan to
your website (see our SUGGESTED USES).
18.
"Why use an INNOVACARD™ over a traditional business
card?" Traditional business cards are easily destroyed
and discarded. The INNOVACARD will be retained and
used repeatedly. Imagine your entire product catalog
fitting into your client's wallet accessible to him/her
at anytime!
